Browser Settings - JavaScript

JavaScript is a scripting language commonly used to construct web pages. Programmers use JavaScript to make web pages more interactive; for example, to display forms and buttons. Disabling JavaScript may cause some sites not to work properly, including this one.

How to Enable ActiveScripting in Internet Explorer

(ActiveScript is Microsoft's version of JavaScript. The details of these instructions may vary slightly depending on your version of Explorer.)

Step 1

Click on the "Tools" menu of your Internet Explorer web browser and select "Internet Options" from the resulting drop-down menu. Step 1 - Internet Explorer

Step 2

At the top of the "Internet Options" dialog, click the "Security" tab. Ensure the "Internet" zone is selected, and then click the "Custom Level..." button. Step 2 - Internet Explorer

Step 3

On the "Security Settings" dialog, scroll down near the bottom of the "Settings" list as shown in the image to the left. Under the Heading "Scripting" you'll find the sub-heading "Active Scripting" with three available setting options. Select the "Enable" option and click the "OK" button at the bottom of the dialog to apply the change. Step 3 - Internet Explorer

Step 4

Choose the "Yes" button on the "Warning!" message box that asks whether you are sure you want to change your security settings. (There's no need for concern here - Internet Explorer ships with the Active Scripting feature enabled by default.) After you click the "Yes" button, both the message box and the "Security Settings" dialog will close and the change will be applied. Step 4 - Internet Explorer

Step 5

Finally, close the "Internet Options" dialog by clicking its "OK" button. Step 5 - Internet Explorer
